The game
Ink & Stone is a solo game. It has no advertising, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated gameplay account. The release includes the campaign, Dojo, puzzles, collection, and shop. Live multiplayer is not included.
Information saved on your device
The app saves your chosen profile name, rating, campaign and lesson progress, puzzle history and streaks, inventory, cosmetics, purchase-entitlement information, and settings on your device. Widgets read a limited local snapshot through the app's shared storage. Your chosen profile name does not have to be your real name.
The game does not send these local saves to a developer-operated server. Your device's backup settings may include app data in an Apple-managed backup. This release does not provide automatic progress synchronization between devices. Deleting the app or resetting progress may remove local saves; restoring purchases restores eligible purchases, not game progress.
Apple's services
If you use Game Center, the app sends campaign-star totals, puzzle streaks, rating scores, and achievement progress to Apple under your Game Center identity. Leaderboards may make your Game Center nickname and scores visible to other players. Game Center is optional; you can play without it and manage sign-in in your device's Game Center settings. Apple processes purchases for campaign access and optional cosmetics. StoreKit provides verified purchase information so the app can unlock, restore, or revoke purchased content. We do not receive your payment card details or billing address. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Local puzzle and campaign reminders are optional and can be disabled in the app or iOS Settings. They are scheduled on your device rather than sent through a developer push-notification server.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments you choose to include. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue. Please do not send passwords, payment information, or unrelated personal details. Email delivery and the support inbox are provided by Cloudflare Email Routing and Google Gmail when forwarding is active.
The website uses Cloudflare hosting and delivery. Visiting it sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and requested page, to the hosting service for delivery and security. This is separate from the game's local progress storage. We do not use that information for cross-app advertising or sell it.
Your choices
You can change your local display name, disable reminders, manage Game Center, or use Reset Progress in Settings. Purchase rights remain tied to the Apple Account used to purchase; use Restore Purchases after reinstalling. To ask about a support email or request its deletion, contact support@inkandstone.app. We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle support and meet applicable obligations.
We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If a child has sent personal information in a support message, a parent or guardian may contact us to request its removal.
Changes
We will update this page when the app's data practices change and show the revised date above. Any future online features will need a policy reflecting their actual data handling before they are released.
